Simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until heated through. To serve, ladle braised chicken and vegetables into bowls then garnish with fresh parsley leaves if desired. Salt and pepper to taste

Marinate for at least 30 minutes (preferably several hours). 2) Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and dust with flour. Add the chicken to the hot skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. 3) Reduce heat to low and add the marinated onion and garlic to the skillet. Simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the onions are very tender. Discard bay leaf before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. 4) Enjoy!
